Young amethyst deceiver

A small purple mushroom standing on a bed of green moss. The background is softly blurred, creating a serene woodland atmosphere.

Amethyst deceiver is a small brightly colored mushroom.

Because its bright amethyst coloration fades with age and weathering, it becomes difficult to identify, hence the common name "deceiver".

This tiny one (around 2 centimeters tall) is far from deceiving the viewer.
