Tiny islet Îlot Leroue in New Caledonia lagoon

A serene coastal scene featuring clear, calm water leading to a sandy beach lined with greenery, and distant islands visible under a blue sky with scattered clouds.

Îlot Leroue is a tiny islet bordered by a coral reef, located in New Caledonia's large southern lagoon.

It's an entirely natural site, less frequented than other islets closer to Nouméa. Snorkelers will particularly appreciate the preserved reef drop-off, where numerous fish, turtles and coral sharks can be seen.
