Sainte-Marie bay from Ouen Toro

A panoramic view featuring a coastline with several small islands in the ocean, surrounded by lush greenery and distant mountains under a cloudy sky.

Ouen Toro is a hill on the southernmost tip of the Nouméa peninsula in New Caledonia. It rises to an altitude of 132 meters and covers 63 hectares.

The hill overlooks the bay of Sainte-Marie, which belongs to the commune of Nouméa, capital of New Caledonia.

There are three Sainte-Marie islets: the islet Sainte-Marie (or Grand Sainte-Marie or île N'Géa), the islet Uéré (or Petit Sainte-Marie) and the smaller islet N'Do.
