Liberty has been framed

The Statue of Liberty was a gift to the United States from the people of France. It is an icon of freedom and of the United States, and was a welcoming sight to immigrants arriving from abroad.

But it was a long time ago…

Nowadays, there is a worrying increase of xenophobia in France, with dumb actions taken by some political leaders that do nothing to improve the situation… :-(
