La Main de Crépin mountain peak

Mountain landscape with a stream, weathered dwarf juniper roots in the foreground, pine trees and jagged peaks under a cloudy sky

With its high limestone walls and sharp peaks, the Cerces massif lives up to its nickname of France's little Dolomites.

La Main de Crépin once boasted five peaks giving the appearance of a hand, but two of them have unfortunately collapsed in recent years.
