Wood pier in sunset
Le Tréport lighthouse is located on the Normandy coast, at the end of the jetty of the town's port.
The edifice was built in 1844 to mark the access to the port and the outlet of the Eu canal to the sea.
At 14 m high, the lighthouse is a cylindrical tower covered in white and green paint, with a halogen lamp and a range of 20 nautical miles (37 km).
